Director of Photography // Cinematographer
Hello everyone!
My name is Favienne Howsepian and I am a cinematographer that just relocated from Los Angeles to Amsterdam! I have over a decade of experience as a cinematographer, with a MFA in cinematography from the American Film Institute (AFI) Conservatory. Since receiving my MFA, as well as an American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) award for my cinematography work on my AFI thesis film entitled Snowplow, I have gone on to photograph genre-crossing work, from docs to commercials to music videos, with narrative as my main focus. As a first generation American born to a Dutch mother and a French/Armenian father, I have always found myself drawn to diverse perspectives and unknown environments.
